Metabolic discovery: My tolerance for sweet wine is MUCH higher than for dry. It's almost
like soda (or "pop" if you're south of Mason-Dixon).

I'll have to look it up later as to why.

I wonder if sweet wines are sweeter because less of the sugar is turned to alcohol. That would result in them being lower proof.

...time for a nap, though a G&T also sounds like a nice option for a hot summer saturday afternoon.

Nope... just checked... 24-proof (12%), just like any other wine.

Not an entirely good discovery... I usually shut myself off after 2 or 3 glasses. It could
get more expensive unless I start buying it in gallon* jugs... which is just as trashy as
boxed. Need to keep up appearances, you know.

* I've noticed SOME gallon wines going for a whopping $6.99. Quality.

Time to fire up the grill.

One year we had GD (Bela) the next year in November we had SIX!! DD started raising his three along with their one, DS took a wife with a DD and they immediately had one of their own (Lyriq)
So one GD turned into four GD's and two GS's ... instant grandparents
