There's a couple escaped murderers from upstate NY that were supposedly seen in Windsor,Vt a day or two ago. That's not far from us. No sign of them since.

I like evidence, Bear. But there are lots of types of evidence and not everything published is true or accurate. There is a metric crap ton of psuedoscience just about e-cigs and vaping out there. Not even worth thinking about what happens with food/nutrition or vaccines.
Katmar, the biggest brain differences between people and most animal is the size of the cortex. The other brain regions, including those where emotions arise, are pretty similar. Emotional responses are hardwired across species. The differences are in whether we can think about or name the experience- cognition. Things can be experienced whether or not they're named or identified in the same way that people do.
