G'mornin/afternoon, snails!

Today is my first day of working from home one day per week. Not very happy working on a laptop. I've got dual monitors going, but monitor #2 is my 55"hdtv...

That's a GOOD way to do it! (You're not supposed to be watching the tube anyway.....;))

I've put off the initiating of the "partial denture" saga too long. It should have been done
and over by this time. But...

... going tomorrow to a "corporate dentistry" chain for a consultation. It is on my paperwork
that I already *HAVE* a dentist/hygienist and *HAVE* a preferred oral surgeon. I am ONLY
interested in using them for impressions, making and fitting a partial. That is ALL. I anticipate
it NOT to be a great visit.

... also have an appointment next week with my dentist's "group" for the same thing.

Doing both will allow me to do a trade-off analysis. The latter (above) charges just under 3x
what the former (above) "advertises". I need to know if the chain's figure includes all the
incidentals - like impressions and the actual dentist's time - or if the advertised price is for
the appliance ONLY. "My dentist's" group is an all-in price... everything. :: sigh ::

@tiburonfirst : Don't start with the "implants". I ain't going there at $3.5K-$4.0K PER TOOTH.
People have - for decades - dealt with partials (or even full dentures) and I believe I can do the
same thing.

So... more to follow. You have been warned.
