{{{hugs}}} Katmar, hoping all is okay & she's just a little sore :(

Thanks, Dale. Usually, she bounces back if she gets a little boo boo. My vet, who is a good friend (not working today, of course) said it was pretty important to get her checked because of the foot turning under. And the options I mentioned were what she thought it might be. We will see soon enough. And we are already a tad concerned because she lost a pound and has been eating more, so we are watching that, too. It could just be she has been a little more active with the baby in the house. Thank you for your good wishes.

I got home today and discovered that my light fixture was no longer hanging by the wires! I guess DD's boyfriend's father came through! And here's the final result. Not a big difference but it makes me happy. :)

Well, it's a torn crucible ligament, which requires surgery. She sees the surgeon tomorrow morning at 9:20. Blood work, EKG and surgeon wants a good look at it so she can plan how she will proceed. They don't seem overly concerned about her age. But I am. I feel so sad and scared. That's how I get. I feel like I should've been able to grab her before she jumped, but I know I couldn't. But if I had the door closed a little more, she wouldn't have been able to get out. I know it does NO good to blame myself, and I will let it go after awhile because I know things can happen SO fast and it was an accident.

I want the surgery done ASAP.

@AttyPops Is that the same surgery your GF's dog had on both of her legs?

Thank you everyone for your good thoughts. Keep 'em coming, PLEASE.

I just read back and Atty's GF's dog had torn ligaments in both knees. I think he said she was around 6 years old. My Puggers acts that age, but she turns 13 on July 5. I hope she does as well as GF's dog.

Gonna go spend some quality time with my baby. She just got her meds and, hopefully, will sleep well tonight.

Thanks everyone, I truly appreciate your concern. She's a tough little girl, so I am very hopeful.

    Have a great night....

chin up, kat! it's nobody's fault - accidents happen. is it a complete tear? this article makes some good points and if you are concerned because of her age you might want to ask about alternative treatments if it it's a partial tear only. but atty's stepdog had both legs done and is doing well - baby will be fine!

“A complete cranial cruciate ligament tear is always a surgical case,” says Stacey Hershman, DVM, of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, “since otherwise the knee cannot function as a hinge joint.” Advocates of conservative management recommend that whenever the tear is partial, nonsurgical techniques be given an eight-week try. If symptoms improve during that time, they say, the odds favor nonsurgical recovery. If symptoms don’t improve, conservative management techniques can be used as pre- and post-operative conditioning and therapy.
