    AND THERE YOU GO, EXACTLY.

This place is big Big BIG on implants. The doc was one of the researchers/developers of the
"Hybridge" implant procedure. So yeah... the cynic in me senses a future high-pressure tactic.

Well, I never changed my mind. Did NOT get bone grafts and am happy with what I have. No problems!

What a stretch to say it was vaping..Someone needs to school this manager! Go for it, CES!

Actually probably not quite as much of a stretch as it may seem. They knew the room that triggered the alarm, and have been having problems with the detectors and vaping.

And yep, i talked to the manager about vaping- but honestly i'd rather talk to the vaper and teach him/her to stealth vape. If you want to blow clouds go to a bar, go outside, be respectful, whatever. just don't interrupt my work.

(I still vape in my office and lab, but i don't do clouds and the office doesn't have a smoke detector)

And they'll talk to your about these grafts and stem cells and yada yada yada. Luckily you're good at standing your ground, asking for a rationale, and saying "no".

    G'mornin, snails!

    Pictures as soon as possible!!!!
Is it a particular breed, Mad?

I won't get any pics for another 6 weeks or so, lost. It's a Siberian Forest Cat. :thumb:

Congrats, Mad!! You getting a boy or a girl?

I'm getting a girl. I don't know why, but I have that preference and am lucky enough to have the choice. If I were 10+ years younger, I think I'd have chosen a boy, LOL! ;)

Oh! Congratulations on the birth of your new little one MadO ;)

    Thanks, dale! :D

Lawn mowing in a couple/few hours. No edge trimming this time.

Oral surgeon consult this afternoon. I should start a pool here to see who can guess the
    estimate... just for fun.

    IV sedation
    6 "simple" extractions
    1 "complex" extraction
    7 synthetic bone grafts *
Hit of nitrous for the IV needle placement

    * I really really question the need for the bone grafts. I am NOT getting implants, and the
"first opinion" never made mention of bone grafts. But the first opinion did mention
"torus mandibularis" removal (which "second opinion" did NOT mention).

    :: sigh ::

I don't envy you in that at all Bear. Regardless of decisions, it doesn't sound fun. Tell em...knock you out and give good paid drugs. Good luck. (GF just had oral surgery, her jaw is swollen up and she's not having fun. :( )

    and still no sunshine? :(

    ...
    On your shoulder.....
    OK, I'm here.
