Hiya snails.

Well, Mickysoft's last windows update for 8.1 messed something up. Been getting errors since the 4th.
Of course, it's now more or less insisting that I upgrade to Win 10. I've avoided it so far, and could continue to do so, but it's auto-checked in Windows update. And once I tried to reinstall OTHER 8.1 updates, and didn't catch the auto-checked thing, it's going to pester the heck out of me until I upgrade.

I think I'll bite the bullet, so it quits annoying me. But, it's going to be a long night.

So I MIGHT be able to get back, but if not, I'll say "goodnight" to you all now. Goodnight!
Wish me luck. Particularly with removing some spystuff and also with using FF, along with getting it to work in general.
I have trepidation, but the pester-update won't go away (I assume). Grrrrrr

I'm here, too, to say goodnight. A crazy evening. Long story short, Maddy has taken to chewing the telephone cord. YES, I still have a landline. Kept taping it with electrical tape, and she kept finding a new spot. It's a long cord. Anyway, my BF lives down the street and had tons of cord, so she came up and I had to redo everything. The cord now runs up and behind the curtain rod, over the top of a large cabinet and down behind to the jack. Went into other room to look for something, stepped on a framed photo of Jerome Bettis, (don't ask) and broke the frame and glass. Not a happy camper right now, so off to get lost in my book. Maddy is really playing up to me for forgiveness. Hard to ignore as you can tell by my avi.
