sometimes my travel genes almost reawaken
Love to say the same, but I don't travel well. My whole life, I got anxious when I traveled and it took so much away from the enjoyment. To this day, I can't tell you why. But I LOVE being at the ocean, even if anxious.

I missed that whole thing. Maybe someday someone can catch me up. She sure doesn't seem the same in the "other" place.

and it might have been just the right combination of people that made her presence so enjoyable in this thread and pre-vets ........
Yup. PVT was an unprecedented convergence of great ideas, enthusiasm, wonderful and dedicated people, and flawless execution. 2010-2012 was a special time here... But PVT's growth model quickly turned out to be unsustainable in the long run, really, with the growing forum, logistics, unfortunate personal animosities and other, um, issues, that surfaced after a while.
