I was reading the "US States--Calls To Action." It's really sad what is being proposed in so many state legislatures. In Ohio, they are proposing a $33 tax per 30ml bottle of ejuice. I can see how they can go after b&m stores and internet sales, but it's going to be hard to enforce with diy. I guess they can go after liquid nicotine sales. And what about sales of ejuice that don't contain nicotine? Why wouldn't the consumer be able to purchase pre-mixed ejuice without nicotine and then add it themselves? IDK. I see a black market coming.

Birmingham, Al
Pepper,

Alabama is one of the states with a ludicrous tax proposal...they're going to use tax stamps and make it a misdemeanor to DIY. That is, possessing nicotine liquid either without a tax stamp or a receipt to show that you've paid the tax will be illegal. Yes, hard to enforce, and there will be a black market. But if it passes they can use if if they decide they want to mess with you.

Up is down and down is up! They will soon be sending people to jail for the use of ecigs/ejuice, but if I want to consume something that is mind altering (think Colorado), it perfectly legal. It's enough to drive someone to drink.:glare:
