Thank you for all the kitty well-wishes and concern.

He's home and happy to be here...
  • wet food
  • litter box
  • grooming
  • dry food
  • sniffing around
He remains meow-less (silent) so I'm hoping it returns. It "seems" to frustrate him as he's
trying and trying to make a noise. Still no water, but I'm keeping an eye out for that.

No at-home care needed, follow-up visit next Tuesday.

I really don't know what the problem was/is, but now everything is working as it should!

I run all my 'stuff' just about every day, keep up with updates, etc., so I'm not taking any chances so my tech guy will be here later today.

You have a tech guy? We should all be so privileged.:D

Land of the Lost
So after my almost 60 minute trek home last night, I went to get a pedicure (long overdue, I might add) and I had my PV in my lap while I was sitting in the chair. Before I started to use it, I asked the man (yes man) working on my feet if it was okay for me to vape. Not only did he say it was no problem, he started up a whole conversation about it with me. He was not a vaper, but he told me about an experience he had with a cloud chaser in a bar. Then he started to ask me how to get those huge thick clouds. I went on to tell him that the guy he encountered was what is known as a cloud chaser and tried as best I could to explain resistance, ohms, wattage and volts. Between my very little understanding and his broken English, I'm not sure it was the best way for him to learn, but hey; I tried. He was really curious about all of it, which I thought was pretty cool.

Morning Snails - never know who's here

Woke up this morning and started my normal routine. Noticed my fuzzy Bhaalu didn't eat all night (we are trying to wean him off the prescription food the vet had put him on to bring his weight back up). I always hand feed him his breakfast and his prednisone. Usually, he dives right in, but this morning he wasn't too interested. I had to feed him spoon by spoon. After he finished, i continued on with my routine and as usual he shadowed me for a while. When it was time for my shower, I went to look for him (we limit his range to the bedrooms when we can't watch him, he likes to get into the couch). When I found him he was lethargic and falling to the right.
The poor guy has Insulinoma so I knew he was having a reaction to low blood sugar. I grabbed the Kayro syrup we keep for these occasions and gave him a good dose. About 45 minutes later, he was pretty much back to normal. I guess we will need to do the weaning slower. I just hope he will go back to his normal food, he's getting fat on the perscription stuff, but that is all he wants to eat.

tech guys come in handy! ;)

unfortunately, i am it around here

I'm the one here too Tibs.
