and why did'nt that bear provide additional kitty updates? :(

Mouth-ulcer kitty appears to be doing well. He's eating, drinking, grooming and doing his usual
property roaming. :) I am noting he's not as spry as usual, but otherwise fine. He goes back
Tuesday for a look-see that the sores are much better or gone.

and not a further word on oreo! hmpf!

Oreo is still hanging around. S/he has started waiting right at the deck door (looking in) waiting
for breakfast in the morning. I scrape all the left-over wet food into a bowl, and it is promptly
gobbled up. Some other critter cleans out the dry food bowl overnight, every night. S/he's getting
slightly more calm, but still creates distance if I open the deck door. So right now, I'm just letting
things be.

My mind has been elsewhere the last few days with Dad-things... yard, gardens and deck things.
Everything seems to be is in a holding pattern and not much is happening... it's all waiting on
OTHER people, which drives me wild. On a 1 to 10 scale of "completely cheesed off", I'm at an 8.

and thanks for the update, bear! isn't your dad doing ok with the car you found for him? :?:

Well, he did not feel the AC was cold enough, and I had to agree with him. But being a 2005, I suppose
one would expect some degradation. (He went without AC for 3 or 4 years in the previous car because
it would be expensive to repair AND it was a '99.) So "stuffs 'n thangs, stuffs 'n thangs" and I ended up
going to the repair shop to warn them STERNLY about screwing around with my 85 year-old father and
making him do multiple trips for nothing (ie: NOTHING was done and/or excuses they did not have the
part, even after 1 week) and the next time he came in that it would be fixed while he waited.

Now he has AC, as of yesterday.

The (very) limited warranty on a used car did not cover the AC system. I feel responsible for the problem
as I checked everything out when I was doing the car shopping. I checked the AC in that car when it was
in the low 40s outside, so of course it felt cold enough to me, then. I will offer 100% reimbursement,
which he won't take. But the $ will get to him one way or another. I'll just have to get his checking
account number and go make a deposit.

Howdy everyone. Taking a quick break to refill my tanks, have a cuppa Joe and stop in to say hello. Feeling muuuuuuuuuuuch better today. :D
Glad to hear your kitty seems to be getting better, Bear. I expect we'll have a full report after the follow up visit with the Vet. :)
