My chore is resting right now.
Same here Franster. Just getting back home and I'm absolutely exhausted, after spending the night at the hospital with my mom. Can't bring myself to much of anything I need to get done. :(

How is your mom today, Lost?
Hi Kat and thank you for asking. She was sleeping when I left, which she sorely needed. Health-wise, she is doing okay. She needs to overcome some emotional/psychological obstacles for her recovery to continue in the right direction.

That oftentimes happens after heart surgery, but I'm sure you know that since she went through it before. May I ask how old she is? And is anyone seeing her, such as a therapist or psychologist? Will continue to keep her in my thoughts. Thanks for the update!

She is 71 or 72...? Right now, she is not coherent enough for a therapist. She was heavily sedated because she was so anxious, she would not allow herself to fall asleep, for fear she would not wake up again. She kept asking if we were keeping something from her, and stuff like that. Like we didn't want to tell her the truth because the truth was bad news... :(

Her anxiety level should go down once she realizes she is healing. Until then, probably wise to keep her somewhat sedated. I'm sure they will want to get her up and about so recovery can actually begin and she can get some Physical therapy, too. I am sorry she is so anxious. I hope that passes soon.
