Good morning Dale and Tibs.

I was able to put in a service call via the web last night. It's almost 7:30am and I can't believe they haven't contacted me yet ;) (kidding)

You've got the massive heat forecast for today, Tibs. Good thing to get the outside work done before it hits full blast.

Good morning. Yesterday was a day...

On the way to take the beasties to the vet, I found out that a front window is cracked- a piece of metal hit it- most likely thrown when the lawn was getting mowed on Tuesday. The window will be repaired Monday.

The beasties did good. The red girl had several teeth extracted and a gum hyperplasia removed. The boy just needed a cleaning. They were groggy when i got them home. Poor little girl didn't want much supper, but she ate when i fed her by hand, and she took her pain meds without problem. Her appetite is back this morning.

We also hit 100 degrees yesterday (ETA-the official high was 103) ...and guess who's AC unit couldn't take it. It was 86 inside when i went to bed last night. With the system fan on and doors and windows open it's all the way down to 84 inside this morning. sigh.

Glad y'all made it through the storms safely.
:shock:Oh nooooooooooooo!!! So sorry to hear that, CES.
Good morning everyone. :)

Bummer CES! Well, you know to keep your core temp down, right? Dogs like ice too if they can lick it (chew might bother teeth?)

    Tibs too.

    Good morning snails. :)

Atty, all 3 of my dogs LOVE ice. The biggest one must eat 20-30 a day. Has done so all her life. I had another dog several years back that loved them, but she brought them right back up. I guess her stomach couldn't handle the ice cold. Dogs are funny.

Good morning Atty and Lost :)

The girl beastie can't have ice right now- she's on soft food for the next week or so. I have to come home at lunch and give her pain meds, so if it's too hot inside then, i'll probably wet them down a bit.

Time to get ready to start teh day. Have a good one y'all

Oh CES, I really hope you are able to get your AC fixed soon. That's got to be miserable. :(
