thanks Katmar. They're coming sometime after noon today.

I'd taken a personal day today (use it or lose it) before the AC broke. But now i'm wondering if i shouldn't go in this morning, since I don't know whether it'll be fixable or replaceable today or not. If it's not, I'll have to take more time. choices.

Thanks, Fran. Me too.

It's not horrible in here right now, but it got up to 89 yesterday. I'd closed the curtains to block the sun and the heat, but that meant it was dark, stuffy, and hot. but still a few degrees cooler than it would have been (mid-90's outside)

I came home for lunch to check on the beasties, at that point it was 86 inside and 90-ish outside. The beasties went outside and hung out in the yard for about 20 minutes.

yep. my thoughts exactly ;)

and right they are! :D

i have no idea how some people manage to work in this heat  barring a power failure or catastrophic water loop failure i made sure i opted for individual, smaller geothermals to always have access to a cool spot! ;) one of the four is bound to keep on going, i hope!
