bear is still in the planning stage - might be a while till he works up the courage to make a decision - poor bear :(

That would be correct, Tibs. That said, I would like to have it all done before Thanksgiving.
That includes any adjustments to the partials. There will be a three-month healing period
after extractions before impressions. If I allow one month for the partials to be made,
fitted and a few adjustments, that leaves me very little time to continue being a wimp.

So Tuesday will be when I give the green light to the prosthodontist to confer with the
oral surgeon... then a consult (I imagine) with the surgeon... then scheduling. I'm thinking
it'll be about 3 weeks out at that point unless I get in on a cancellation... like last time...
"next day"... no time to :censored: bricks.

It'll all work out fine, Bear. You will be so much happier. Shouldn't have a lot of pain. :)

Planned cookout here with a few friends tomorrow looks like it will be a cook-IN. Forecast
for up to three inches of rain starting tomorrow morning. I can still do the grilling outdoors,
    but we'll eat in.

So... touch-ups in the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Just about done. Then outside
to chill with tunes, a glass of wine and brush the cats.

...except pain in the budget. No... really... this is going to cost a BUNDLE. I'm close
to calling my financial advisor and asking him to tell me it's all good. I know it *IS* all
good. I planned well. I just like to have reassurance.

I have usually found that the fear of going to the dentist is worse than the actual going to the dentist. Really. It's the anticipation. :D

Ummmm... "oral surgeon", thank you. IV sedation is required.

SEVEN teeth is bad on the psyche... mine, at least. It's good they are all molars.

... We are not [even] registered as "domestic partners" ...

... which probably goes over as well as a fart in church given the landmark decision of the last
24 hours. I'd be happy to discuss it *here* (not "over there") ... or in PMs ( @Katmar ) if you'd
    like.

...smile all the while or call Ralph in his Buick?
    Smile all the while.:D
I would probably want nitrous, at least. I hate the shots in my mouth. To me, that's the worst part.
