No... we re not "married".
Does that negate a 21+ year relationship?
We have never considered it to be something we need or require.
I learned a LOT from my previous partner of 16 years.
However, as a "rights" victory, the SCOTUS ruling is a win. And that goes for the same-sex
couples who feel this gives them another level of security, in whichever way(s) that may be.
Doesn't negate it at ALL, Bear. Your relationship has been more successful than both of my "lawful" marriages.
I was just confused by the conversation. Still not entirely clear... I was under the impression that you were a woman. But now with "husbear" I'm still confused.
Anyhoo, I am thrilled about the SCOTUS ruling today. Not only for the legal rights that are involved, but also, and IMO, more importantly, the HUMAN rights.
