Now the head of gov personnel office is "stepping down" after the gov personnel office was hacked.
People don't get "hacking" concepts. Basically, it's "breaking and entering" but using a computer.
So, if your house gets robbed, should you lose your "house owner job" and be "fired"? Was is YOUR fault? No, it was the robber's fault.
Sure, there's some due-diligence that has to be done. Normal precautions...all done by IT geeks that nobody else can understand. Computer equivalent of locking doors. However, nothing is 100% hack proof, just like nothing is burglar proof.
So why is she being fired? Is it just a convenient excuse because they want her gone anyway? She's a scape-goat? Did they find the procedures to be lax and she knew about it? (doesn't make sense). Meanwhile, the NSA knows who did it...if they knew about the Sony attack, they probably can (at least forensically) trace this one too.
