Will post later re: oral surgeon consult.

23sep15, unless I get in sooner on a cancellation.

I asked about the need for grafts and he said "no". However, he will confer with the prosthodontist
and get back to me with any news. Plenty of time. He also said grafting decision(s) can also be made
during extraction if something obvious/needy shows up. Regardless, the quote was for extractions only.
So, that made the wallet give a tentative sigh of relief.

... and the prescriptions (antibiotic and hydrocodone) were called in, and picked up already.

I thought it odd to do it in advance like that, but I guess since there are no narcotics...

And a prescription antimicrobial mouth rinse to use daily until the procedure. Cheaper via
    a script than off-the-shelf.

This year's fundraiser for the woman that feeds 60+ cats EVERY DAY... and vets them
and rescues them and finds home for them (all out of her own pocket). Hate to "miss"
it, but the forecast says 87-91 tomorrow with stultifying humidity. I remember last year's
event... it was only 83 and I was just so uncomfortable... and there were these nasty
scented candles that made me want to puke. And it was mobbed. I pledge to bring food
to her house to help feed the kitties on the route.

    Isn't Hydrocodone a narcotic?

    No... glorified aspirin, actually.
Bear, I'm not really sure what you're having done but last year I had all my teeth pulled except for 2 on the bottom and it wasn't that bad. I have full denture on top and partial on the bottom. Had no trouble thru any of it. Good Luck honey :D

    Thank you, baby. :) :) :)

I'm apprehensive about possible post-op complications... and the three months without "help"
from back molars. I'll just have soft-ish stuff, I suppose... and will become accustomed to it
    before long.

bear, before the implants my surgeon told me i'd be very surprised how much chewing can be done without molars

And since you did a :faceplam: [tm @CES 2013], I take it he lied to you. Sure, you can chew with
front teeth, but look like a total imbicile the entire time.
