Ran over to BJs, picked up (3x 48 cans) wet food and (2x 22.5 pounds) dry food and then
scooted it out to the event. We had a quick smoke "out back" (she's closeted re: smoking)
and I gave regrets that I could not stay because "something came up"... and it's not a lie...
the WEATHER came up. It's horrible outside. It was only 12h30 and already full of people.
It'll be another success for her!

Yep. We had (officially) >2.5" rain in less than 1 hour overnight. I usually sleep right
through the commotion but this was a good'un. Got out of bed at 04h15 to watch the
light show and waterworks.
