    You're gonna be late!!! Hint: On 90 in NY, you can do 85mph with no problem. Just as
    a precaution, drop it down to 80 when you see center-median tree stands. Otherwise,
    85-90 is pretty safe. :: zoom-zoom ::

    Bear, for God's sake, cut down on the Ketchup in that recipe!
    AND...(not to be too OUTSIDE like ;) ) There's no beans showing up top, but beans in the rice, so what else is in the rice? What seasonings? Sure, there's green chilies in the can of tomato-pre-mix-gunk, but ....just...just...just tell me you'll be creative and get the seasonings all set, yes?

    And you going to need MORE WATER than what is in that can, unless you pre-cook the rice first. Is there an actual recipe?

    Speaking of grocery shopping; I stopped to pick up something this morning on my way to work and some jackass driving a Lexus thought he didn't have to follow the rules. I guess because his car is sooooooooooooooo special, he deserves two parking spaces. :grr:

    Of course, as long as you like raw (insufficient water to cook it) rice....

    Why do you see the need to ruin it, Atty? It looks wonderful and I know it will taste wonderful. Different people have different ways of cooking. I intend to enjoy Bear's peppers.

    The picture was for illustrative purposes only.

    I do not use ketchup for stuffed peppers. (Nor do I wear a wife-beater tank top.)

    I know how to cook rice.

    I was being self-deprecating in that MINE will not look as good as THOSE. But one cannot
    tell taste from a picture. The ones in the pic could taste like pus, for all we know.

    Please do not puncture every balloon I send up.

    Are you at Erie yet??? Pick up some fireworks at the border... may as well join in the
    ILLEGAL fun along with the rest of the trash around the neighbourhood. You would have
    PA ID, so no problem.

    I was trying to make sure you didn't have uncooked rice (I've done that before, myself). But...OK. Have fun. :)

    I'm now scared to say I plan to do a personal version of "Julie and Julia" starting this Fall.

    I know about the salt.

    I know about the butter.

    But you know what?... she was no cow in real life and nor did she have high blood pressure.

    First up on the menu will be :

    Served with her French Onion Soup (but with extra onions).
