What I envision: The asphalt tear-out (4' x 8') will happen, the new drain pipe and
fittings will be put in, but the new hot asphalt will not. The 4' x 8' area will remain
open (gravelly) until God knows when.

HA!!! I knew it!!!

NO ASPHALT... and they are GONE!!! Not even a knock on the door!!!

Pic to follow...

You got more done than we did..............

I will need to get a section of that corrugated drain piping to extend the end of the
white PVC. That was not contracted, so it's up to me to do that and get the area
all cleaned up afterward. They were nice enough to dig the trench for the additional
pipe. I'll put it it and topsoil/seed the lawn. No big deal.

But still... UNPAVED!!! JUST like I said! Damn, I'm good.

I should go get a lottery ticket and pick the numbers since I'm on a roll.

btw - it's that oreo's emergency stash i spotted in the pic? ;)

I'm sure Oreo feeds from there, but no. His (her? still) food and water is in the back on
the deck. That food/water is for anycat who wishes to drop by.

And that is not Oreo in the pic. That is "Merry" as in "Merry Christmas" (who has a
brother "Happy" as in "Happy New Year"... who live with a dog "Tricksie" as in "Trick
or Treat"). That's what happens when you let children name the pets.

They also have a rabbit "Shamrock" in honour of St. Patrick's Day.

Their guinea pig "Cocoa Puff" is apparently the exception to the rule of pet names.
