Quick update--Hershey's back home, bathed, medicated, ear flop drained and injected with a steroid... We're fine for a while. But this is a chronic situation. Her ears are really bad and she has allergies, so she's on Benadryl.
IOW, palliative care.
Life expectancy for her breed is 10 or 11 years, depending on whom you ask. She's 12.5...

Now I'm depressed. Another set of brakes does not fit our caper trailer.Yes we did go over there to see this ourselves.4 sets of brakes that should but don't fit. Camper guy said he located a place in Pa that has the right brakes. Said he made them remove the brakes from boxes and measure between the bolt holes. Hoping to get them Monday cause he's going on Vaca.

The sad thing is that when we put Fido down, the vet tried to give him a piece of Hershey bar as a treat. (Cuz dogs love chocolate, but can't normally have it. But in that case....) He was too nervous to eat it. That whole thing is tearing me up.
