Thing is, the "local juice" is clogging up my coils faster.
IDK if it's really the juice or the coils. When my DIY base gets here, I'll be able to compare.

The "new stuff" has a lot more juice flow. Some are just drippers, so that's even easier of course. But for the RTAs, that Triton looks pretty good.

IDK what you guys are talking about on those coils though, not having used them. I assume the Triton with SS coils is a bit different, yes? Or will I end up with the same issues?
Couple of reviews if you're curious (I know...I've already looked in the proper review sections). The first is a more detailed breakdown, the 2nd is good cloud demonstration.

Now, if you don't like "clouds" I guess you could use higher ohm stuff, but the lower ohm stuff is the stainless-steel hollow coils.

We're back from our walk

I don't know anything about the triton Atty. I use the aspire novas and the aspire nautilus, but I only know about the atlantis by hearsay. I pretty much tune out anything subohm.

The higher juice flow is what's hurting me with the new equipment. It's all made for more power, more VG, and a looser draw than i like. (I am a complete outlier with this)

I guess this tank can do either sub-ohm or reg-ohm, and both mouth-to-lung and direct-to-lung inhales.

The sub-ohm coils are the SS ones. The reg-ohm are kanthal. You can buy pre-built coils, or you can get a separate RTA system for an extra 12-ish bucks.

Juice volume used isn't too much of a concern as I DIY my juice so I just use extra PG/VG and lower nic.

Why not just cut the juice in 1/2 with a whatever-ratio cut solution? (I know, will cut flavor too).
What do you mean by "hurting you"?

P.S.
Weren't you the one that liked "Big Air"?

P.B. is like that too. Likes mouth-to-lung and is a bit irritated by all the sub-ohm craze (that's how I understood him).

not literally hurting me. It's just that my liquid is thinner than the new stuff is optimized for, so it doesn't work for me. I'd have to make it thicker to use the newer style equipment that is optimized for much higher levels of VG than i want to use.

P.S. Weren't you the one that liked "Big Air"?

Oh heck no. I like a tighter, warm draw, with flavor and a bit of TH. I'm perfectly happy without a cloud in sight

oh well. I ordered enough coils to keep me for awhile. the nice thing about my vaping style is that coils me a long time.

Yeah, CES. Glad they last for you! Thing is, I'm totally "tootle puffing" (sp?) with very low volume, and I still get gunked coils. I suspect it's this "local juice" but not sure. It's unflavored 100% PG supposedly. I cut it with some PG and VG and water. (Evod tank). Coils are just not lasting very long lately since I've used local juice. Very strange. I used to get 3 weeks out of a coil. Now I'm luck to get one week without having to clean it.

100% unflavored PG? that's weird. seems like maybe it's not as clean as one might want. you might try the PG from amazon. I've been using it to cut my higher strength liquids, and have see no difference in coil longevity. When does your new nic from NN arrive?

glad you have your accounting done Tibs. nap time? it is for me- cleaning all done :)

IDK, the USPS tracking only says it's in transit. Only thing showing is arrival (1.5 days after invoice) in CA. Grrrr. Maybe it's "on the way" and I won't know until it arrives locally. So I'm guessing Mon or Tue.

Re: PG/VG. Yeah, I think my DIY stuff is cleaner than the stuff the local shop is using. Or they have "additives" that I don't know about...Grrrr again.

Not really in the market to buy new hardware (ie: power sources). I have a Provari (calling @Katya) and
a bunch of eGo Twists. And a Phiniac tank. I'm willing to try new atomizing thingies.

Hey, anything 510 threaded will work great on a ProVari (except for sub-ohm coils and temperature control coils). I love my Eleaf GS Air tanks and I highly recommend them. They come in different capacities and diameters, so check the dimensions carefully before ordering. Eleaf/iSmoka makes two kinds of coils that will work for you--regular 1.5Ω dual coils and 1.2Ω OC vertical coils (built a little like old cartomizers). Both kinds are fine; I prefer the 1.5Ω ones because they don't burn (silica wick) and they can easily be rebuilt as a single coil atties, if desired.

Sweet Vapes carries them and their prices are fair.

The M--19 mm diameter, 4 ml capacity, best choice for the ProVari:

Eleaf GS Air M - Eleaf Tanks - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks

You can try the smaller one (16.5 diameter, 2.5 ml) for your Twists, but you'll need to a add a beauty ring to cover the external threads and to support the tank:

    Eleaf GS Air Tank

    Coils:

Eleaf GS Air Coils - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks

Eleaf GS Air Coils Organic Cotton - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks
