Well, the cable is part of his Christmas gift. And enough grocery store GCs to
last quite a few months.

I'm actually quite fortunate he's still MOSTLY independent... but there are things
he can no longer do (or that I trust him in doing alone, at least).

Stuff could be much MUCH worse.
