Side-like tangent: I love going to friends houses and snuggling with their cat(s). Especially when this one in particular used to be painfully shy and skittish b/c of her overly dominant brother (may he RIP; he passed suddenly one morning, out of nowhere).

Is one brand better than another?
Thinking: Minnetonka Moccasin Co. but I thought I'd ask.

not much into moccasins, atty, but if they are meant for around the house check the uggs line-up. i love their footbed supports!
have bought other brands but then i end up buying the uggs insoles for my house shoes

Cleo's sister was like that, was amazed how much more outgoing Cleo was once we gave her sister to my parents

Recently, there have been multiple times when Zuzu has tolerated me picking her up and holding her. This last time, I made sure to give her a soft head bonk and snuggle my face into her neck (multiple times on both sides) before letting her down.

Thanks Bear and Katmar and Atty and Dale and Mad! It's turning into a pretty good day. My lecture went well, and one of the students said it was the best lecture they'd had in that class. A couple of other students got lost aft first, but i think i got them back on track.

Glad that t'mato's blood work looks decent, and that you can go pick him up.

Hope Hubs is still feeling better, Fran. and i hope you get to rest now (after stacking firewood?)

Tibs, I'm glad Michael Vick is trying to atone...but i still can't think about him without thinking of the harm he helped cause.
