Good morning, Snails! Man, we can't seem to catch a break lately. Puggers had another major seizure last night. I mean, it was bad, and we've increased her meds. Her levels are low, so we have room to play. Just hoping we can reach a dose that will stop them without hurting her. Needless to say, didn't sleep very well and my nerves are a tad edgy.....and we didn't do anything different yesterday. Very low key.

but isn't the med the same no matter the cause?
Well, there are several meds that can be tried. Phenobarb is the cheapest and usually the best. What I am saying, though, is that if it's neurological, as in a brain tumor, we will just be buying some time, hopefully. If it's some other neurological problem, it's a crap shoot for how long meds will work.
