are they at least offering a decent severance package? you've been there for years! what about the rest of your department?
Severance package is pretty good - on DuPont roles until 3/31, getting paid to look for a job 
. Then 4/1 (if no job found), 12 months of pay and benefits. Because of this, I'm not really in a hurry to find employment - if I can find a job after the start of April, I'll be getting 2 paychecks

According to the paperwork, I had 26.67 years with DuPont. Severance is 1 month for every two years service - min 2 months; max 12 months pay.
All kinds of not so good news in here tonight.
