Heading for single-digit temps with "feels like" index of -3 right now and dropping. It's frigid cold out there. Wind will freeze your skin. Brrr. But on the positive side...it's sunny! ;)

Flyby. Burger something for dinner. Hmmm. I have pasta. Swedish-style? Stroganoff? Italian? Salisbury Steak style? With homemade hamburger helper...sky is the limit! ;) (apologies in advance to the authentic dishes)

Ahem.

Ummm Goulash! ;)
You sound like my mom.

Of course, Goulash here in the states, doesn't have enough paprika and is full of green pepper and macaroni.

America...land of "wrecks everything". :p (I kid, mostly)

(Now tell me you make authentic Goulash! Go ahead....say it....)

Probably have Chili here ... even with the heat on it's kind of chilly in here ;)

I eat the American mis-named dish version on occasion. I usually pour some soy sauce on it...just to add insult to injury. ;)

It's a depression era dish from my Mom's childhood that we had about once or twice a month growing up. I've mostly sworn off it, because I opt for something else I guess. But she loves it. She'd probably eat it every other week...

Today, it's Salisbury Steak style burger and noodles...mostly because 1) I am out of mushrooms for the "real" version and 2) No ground pork and 3) I just don't feel like making the little meatloaf-ish patties and frying them up.
