but did you ask the breeder if your girl and her big brother have a good rapport? :?:

I did...and was told, "Kittens don't have favorites at this age, so either male will be fine." Whatever...I went with my gut as far as which to choose. I've spent a good amount of time around two cats (boy & girl) that were from the same litter (but different fathers); I watched them grow from into cats that didn't get along.

If that's an eventuality for me, so be it; I'm not gonna love either of them any less.

My cat siblings that had the same parents got along fantastically. Hopefully, the same will be true for you.

Out there screening MORE dirt... not being nosy [tm @Katmar 2015]... as they
load up a flat trailer full of stuff from next door. I chatted up her sister and found
she is moving into assisted living today. The place does not allow PRE-settling...
stuff can only be moved in on THE day the person becomes a resident. Nice!
    Convenient! :glare:

She is also allowed one pet. The stipulation is that the RESIDENT is the ONLY ONE
allowed to take care of the pet. That means not even a friend or relative is able to
help, ie: litter box. How the place would know, I don't know... maybe it's full of
    "safety cameras".

I think the name of the place is "Stalag".
