Busy last couple of days, and it's nice to have some down time now!

I've been pretty scarce myself today. Had some errands and talked to my dear friend whose daughter has stage 4 cancer, metastasized from a negative three breast cancer last year. Came on suddenly this time. They are trying to get her into the Hillman Cancer Center, here in Pittsburgh,which is a very highly rated cancer center in the country. Her brother tried to talk her into going last year, but, for some reason, she did not. She is only 42 and was always strong and independent. Married with one son. My heart aches for the whole family. We must have talked for over 2 hours and there's nothing else I can do but listen. I hate feeling that helpless, but I also understand it's not in my hands. So, sort of a rough day, but, in a way, also good because I realize, once again, how precious life is.

So, to all my precious Snails, I bid you a very fond goodnight.....hug your loved ones (doggies and kitties included), say "I love you" and hold them close to your heart. Take care....and a better tomorrow!!
