    Sun's up over the mountain, think I'll head to the library today after they open. Got a bag full of books for the sale room already, may as well look for some more while I'm there ;)

    Let it dry a bit. ;)

    Time to go season up some fresh port sausage. I decided that, with this "meat scare"...overblown or not...I'd go for reducing my already-limited consumption of processed meats. So this time I purchased bulk fresh country-sausage (basically ground pork, salt, pepper...no nitrates or nitrites added) and I'm adding seasonings.

    Can't see myself eliminating it though. Bacon, ham, salami, pepperoni will just have to happen on occasion. I don't eat a lot of that stuff ....certainly not every day like the study was talking about. A few times a week for me, if that.
