Happy Monday Morning to everybody here.
Nice 4-day stretch of good weather starts today. Furnace off and doors
to be opened in a couple hours.
Out to feed "Mama"-feral in a few moments.
I was over there yesterday (windy) and looking for a decent rock to weigh
down a small lightweight dish. I found one... but it turned out to be a
fake one with a compartment holding a house key. I do not know if it's
something the old lady put there (probably years ago) and forgot... or if
people use it when they come over and want in. Or... if Crazy Cat Lady
used it when she was feeding the indoor cats. To err on the side of safety,
I took the rock from its spot and will ask CCL about it when she comes home
this weekend. Don't need burglars ransacking the place... although it might
help a nosy arsonist burn the place down (and, thus, taking away my worry
about it turning into a rental).
