    P.S.
I've actually made cheesecake. I even purchased a springform pan just for that. Only do it about once a year, and try to give away some. But I LOVE cheesecake, I just can't eat it too often. :(

It's easy to make. If you find cream cheese on sale, it's waaay cheaper than buying one. The savings offset the pan costs over time. And it's better 'cuz you made it. :)

    P.P.S.
    You can freeze it.

Because of the dairy you mean? :(

I've made them also and homemade is generally better ... not much of a fan myself tho ;)

Yeah...all the fat/cholesterol. Eating a whole cheesecake yourself is very over indulgent. That's why I give some away. I haven't bothered freezing it and spreading consumption over the course of a year, I just eat a few slices in a week and give the rest away or toss.

Hummm, highly doubt it would be good after a year anyway
Your GF doesn't like it? :?:

Yeah she does, but it's awful rich. So she only takes a few pieces. I don't remember quantities for 2 years ago, but last year it was low because I made a chocolate one, and she likes the regular one (with strawberries, not cherries) best. I just get both kinds of topping, since I like the cherry topping.

    Her favorite flavor of ice-cream? Strawberry-cheesecake. :D

IF I'm going to eat it then I prefer cherries too ... strawberries I'd probably scrape off

Maybe make one for a holiday dinner and share it around then you won't be stuck with the whole thing ;)

and what was this 17 versus 35? :?: coming from you that sounds like bagged leaves!

    I said nothing.

It COULD be "pounds lost year-to-date"...
It COULD be "millions remaining in estate"...
It COULD be "gas tank fill-ups"...

But I don't think that "17" will go above "20" (v the usual 45 to 50). So yeah... "yay for
    chicken wire". Works!... obviously.

Now... "Aniters" COULD come over with that chainsaw. If she knows where to place just
a few strategic notches, that sucker could fall down go boom in the next wind storm.

I bet it's "millions remaining in estate"...except that wouldn't really be a good thing compared with last year!!
