There was just a news story on TV the other night about that Katmar. Many (but not all) automakers have some kind of warning or detection system for that stuff.

It's those "push to start" car things. That's what it was about. Because on a normal car, they turn the key off, but for these they do something different I guess. IDK. My car is "normal".

Was it one of those "new" car types? There might be a class action suit on that. Just FYI.

I still am amazed that people leave the keys in at all.

The fil should realize that he DID ask a couple of times...

No, it wasn't, Atty. But Bobby has one. He said he has forgotten a few times, then remembered. But to be safe, he is now parking in the car port, instead of the garage. This whole thing is just beyond sad. I wish I could take away Bobby's pain and guilt. He so doesn't deserve to carry this.
