Most of the damage I know of so far was downtown .... a few miles away. Haven't been out yet but heading back up to dad's today so I'll see what's out there.
Hope the damage was minimal Dale. We're just supposed to get a couple of inches of rain, without storms.

power lines and trees continue to to fall onto streets/structures. i will not be posting these types of calls from here on unless something extra is involved.

GRAND ISLE DRIVE:
is a disaster area. power lines and other lines are down. houses are wrecked. authorities are having a difficult time keeping people out of the area.
this area is CLOSED to non-emergency personnel. GCSO is assisting.

Sorry I didn't give an update sooner, but LevLev was back to his old self right quick. The "instructions" said to keep him separated from other cats so he could sleep...yeah, no way that was happening. He and Zuzu missed each other way too much and I could only stand the meowling for so long, LOL.
I spent a lot of quality bonding time with Zuzu while waiting for the appropriate time to pick up LevLev. Finally, after playing with her for a bit, she snuggled up next to my thigh while I was on the floor reading. I took the chance and started petting her...soon after, the purring began. YAY!!! And I got to rub her belly for not a short time!
