T'mato will leave those little presents all over the house. He is unable to "tend" to personal
hygiene, so there are times those will go along for the ride for a bit, then just fall off anywhere.

Our neighbor has balance issues. Hubs went over to change a fluorescent bulb for him.
That's good/nice of him Fran. Good for your DH.

Mom had/has that too. (BPPV/Vertigo in her case). There are MANY causes of balance issues. And even for a more specific diagnosis, it's still somewhat of a catch-all as a lot of diseases can lead to inner ear damage (non-BPPV). And if they get it to clear up with therapy, it can still come back.

All sorts of "vestibular" issues are possible I guess.

It's a "b". The good news is your brain adapts to it after a while. Scared the living hell out of Mom when she woke up with it one day! But she managed to keep cool, get up, go slow, and call the doctor.

gotta agree, bear! and i have no idea why 'issue' caught on like it did - it's a problem, nothing more, nothing less.
i suspect it falls into the much larger category of 'beating around the bush' while staying politically correct - gimme a break!
now there's an uproar about a poster? god forbid, kids should learn how to think! to assess a problem correctly you first need to learn as much as you can by looking at all sides ......................
