First of all, Hi Snails !!!!!

Now for the update. I spoke (texted) a bit with Maria M. (Alex/Liscab's fiance) this morning, on Facebook. She is hurting, she misses him terribly, but she's hanging in there. She posted a message to him, on his Facebook wall, this morning.

Just the opposite here. The last run I went on was in '94 and I sold the bike shortly
thereafter. Sometimes things happen that just take every last shred of enjoyment
out of something.

But at least I was able to sell it for more than I paid. So there's that, I suppose.

Anyway...

...was ready to turn around after 2 miles out this morning. Roads were just icy and
hard to spot danger spots. But once on the entrance ramp for the NYS Thruway,
the roads cleared... and any/all ground snow was gone in a few miles west.

-$28 and change on the machines. I was due for a losing day after a nice string of
"plus" outings.

Weather says 21 for overnight. Skipped firewood duty today and just grabbed some off the deck. May do that tomorrow too.
