bear, if t'mato should continue his recovery please, reconsider the ultrasound. while it is not invasive it'll be stressful :( not such a good thing for a cat trying to get over an urinary infection.
if you think a baseline will come in handy do it after t'mato is completely well again.
now, this only applies if t'mato is eating and drinking on his own by tomorrow ;)

I'm thinking of it as erring on the side of caution. At least I'm JUSTIFYING it that way.

And of course... I'm out in the kitchen removing (more) dead light strings, from the
garland this time(*). In plods T'mato who proceeds to bump-and-paw at my leg (his
favourite maddening thing to do... because he does not know when to just STOP it).

I offer up whipped cream.

(*) What's with all the dead lights this year?... did we have some kind of outer space
electromagnetic pulse that killed everything?
