    G'mornin, snails!

    TGIF!!!

Someone or something or some-app lied about there being snow this morning. I think that's one of the best kind of lies ever.

I only like driving in the snow when it's pretty much just me on the road. :p
    Good morning MadO :)
    Glad the snow missed you!

    T'mato at "new" vet for ultrasound... it's a "work-in" non-appointment, so who
    knows when I'll hear anything.

I feel so much like a schmuck putting him through all of this.

    -----

Water turned off, tub faucet disassembled, putting in new "Delta" brand springs
and washers. Hard with fat fingers. Assuming 2 or 3 attempts before getting
it right and no more leak. Always does.

    -----

    More later.

"Should" get a call from doc "before 14h00". He did require anesthesia, no
big surprise there. (I can't image ANY animal cooperating.)

:: tick tock goes the clock ::

He's home and on the sofa electric blanket (with a quick stop at food bowl for a few
    licks - no chew/bite).

Everything on ultrasound was normal. Vet cautioned that pancreatitis is often very
difficult to detect, but saw no indication anything is amiss there otherwise.

He suggested to just keep tending to him and he could be a cat which simply takes
    longer to bounce back.

I will admit... it's hard to tell by activity because he's ALWAYS been a very inactive
    creature.

Guess I've been doing OK with hydration because there was no sign of DEhydration,
but they gave him the 200ml subcutaneous anyway (I supplied the stuff).

So... will just TRY to be patient and see what happens. He got an overall "Healthy"
    score, except for weight.

:?: t'mato only started antibiotics on monday and he was improving! i would also call him disabled :( and thought, under the circumstances, he did well. ;)
all that aside, you should now have peace of mind, bear! and a baseline ultrasound if anything crops up in the future.

Prefer to have a definitive answer.

But removing everything "known" from the equation: patience and upkeep.
Understood hon, but you've done and are doing all you can and he does seem to be improving even if it is slower than you would like :)
