Looks nice CES. Glad you have a Ph.D so you can use it (12 programs, etc).
You know, the TV's now have voice activated remote control (X1 Operating System from Xfinity). Soon, all our appliances will talk (or at least listen). I think I'll be moving to a cabin in Alaska or something when that happens...but it's on the horizon.
I kid. Looks very nice and I'm glad you'll have nice loads of low water usage laundry in a new easy-on-the-fabric machine.
Now, I have to go make breakfast sausage so I can eat. BTW, snails, this recipe isn't too bad. I tweak it to taste.
Fresh Sausage Seasoning for 5 pounds of meat
2 Tbs
salt
1.5 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs dehydrated bell pepper...this is optional
1 Tbs rubbed sage (add more if you like strong sage)
3/4 Tbs thyme
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne (optional)
1/2 tsp ginger...powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup water
EDIT: Needs a bit of onion and garlic powder, and pinch paprika and black pepper. Maybe cut down the
salt a tad. Maybe substitute some brown sugar for the white sugar
Mix all dry into the water to help incorporate into the meat.
Some incorporate 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk powder into it, but that's if you're stuffing casings and want the filler to absorb the moisture.
I've been buying fresh bulk pork sausage out of the case. Cheaper and no added nitrates.
