they're almost done with the plumbing here. they had to clear a blockage under the house before they could do the straight pipe that flows out to the sewer . The work hasn't taken horribly long, but there was a two-hour wait before they first guy got back with an apprentice and the supervisor that runs the drain-cam.

I have heard of the anti root stuff, OBG. I may have to get some.

the drain-cam is pretty cool.

I've been doing the omelet thing in anodized aluminum. I use that particular pan for things that I want to be 'non stick' but I don't fry stuff in it where it would build up a residue. Nor simmer acids in that particular pan. It can endure a light scrub with a green scrubby and barkeeper's friend if need be.

The other a.a. pans I will fry in. And then also a stainless steel one. And I have a cast-iron fry pan that I wouldn't want to bug-out with either. And that's just a fry-pan. Have a cast iron griddle/grill too. Meh.

The Teflon ones are the WORST. And you can't clean them once something gets "fried in" because...Teflon.

The UPSIDE is... you're getting it out of the way early. I'll get it once per season.
And it's usually during late March when I want/need to be outdoors.

So how about that upcoming $1,300,000,000 PowerBall?!?! Too funny, actually.
