yup! good thing they saved their kerosene heaters from their previous rental :?:

can't get anybody over there till tomorrow!
I hate those things as they produce CO.

Offer to put them up in a motel/hotel for a day?

Tib's another trick that works sometimes is kill all the power (might have 2 breakers for furnace and one for pump) it could just need a re-set just shut it off and wait 30 sec then turn it all back on :)

    Hi Dale :)

Hey does that door of yours stay shut if you slam it?
Nope, nothing works on that stupid door. You can see the gap up top, obviously it has shifted too much to close properly. Can't lock it either which means I can't leave the front door open in nice weather or Elly will push out and be gone
Not to mention me not being able to hear if someone should come in

Sounds like that will need to be squared back up not a big job just a PITB :2c: Oh if the gap is at the opposite side of the hinges it's easy cause you don't have to take the whole thing down most of the time :)

The question is "why did it go off square?"
You don't need to answer that for me. Maybe it always was.

But it's worth checking into on your own if you don't know why. Things like foundation sinking or house-tilt or maybe just iffy door installation or door stress (like heavy door). But....worth checking. This lets you head off any problems.

I know in this house, few things are as square as I'd like. Causes problems. There's a slider in the breezeway that was installed and the guy who installed it wanted it plumb. But the floor is not level...it slopes away from the house very slightly. So now there''s a gap in that slider 'cuz the guy made the vertical stuff plumb rather than square the corners. Grrrr.

Can be all sorts of reasons.

    Hey Tibs...
    You back yet?

    I ran across this.
Geschnetzletes (Creamy Hunter's Sauce) Recipe - The Daring Gourmet
Making it for dinner I think. But I'm out of heavy cream, however I have a can of cream of mushroom soup. So I think I'll cheat. Yeah, sorry. So ...think it will work? (don't have a Spätzle board, so using buttered noodles)

I was originally thinking Schnitzel, but the cut of pork I have is better for the above stuffis.

good morning, bear! go give them heck!

Me being me... just called the "warranty center" ahead of time (pays to
be proactive) and was told that if it's the same repair as 06jan14, there
    will be a deductible waiver.

Of course, the suspicion in me says the dealer will SAY it's something
different - when it's NOT - just to collect payment for repair.

    Still an inconvenience.

    Dad Wednesday. Later!
