They are predicting 3 feet of snow for some parts...like near Tibs.
You know what that wet snow does to trees and power lines. And driving.
So I was serious. But, knowing our Tibs, she's all covered. She already said she was going to town....
i braved walmart today - that's about all i intend to do. by sunday we'll be back in the 40s
I'll try and remember that.
I just copped out and did buttered noodles (and a salad, and green beans).
All turned out well.
Spaetzle are very forgiving... I like to add a little milk to my recipe to make the batter a bit wetter. You can also grab a small board and just quickly scrape off the noodles (using a dough cutter or a sharp knife) in thin strips into the water. Whatever works.
I do not believe in single-use kitchen tools--my kitchen drawers are already full of utensils I never reach for.
