Good Morning Afternoon all fellow thread-followers.

Costco continues to make it difficult for me to like them. I stopped at
the store to pick up a few things, and then decided to purchase gas
there (for the first time). All was going well until it asked for my credit
card PIN.

???

A PIN?!?!

I've had this card since 2004... used it 1000s of times... and never, ever,
have been asked for a PIN. I don't even know if it HAS one, much less what
it is IF there IS one.

If I had the time, I would have returned the store purchases and rolled on
over to BJs to do the shopping - which I should have in the first place.

Grrr.

    That's weird. I know they ask for a pin if you use Debit instead of Credit....

    Credit costs them a transaction fee (or more fees) than debit does. Maybe they "force" debit. IDK.
    Isn't that the same place that charges 25 cents for a cart or something? (Lookup: I guess that's Aldi.)

    Good way to keep me out of there :p

    worth the bit of inconvenience ;) where else can you get pomegranates for 79 cents? and they don't charge! it takes a quarter to get a cart unlocked and you get that back when you return the cart to the proper place! pretty sure dale doesn't leave her cart in the nether regions anyhow! :D

    this is a flyby! i need a nap! :p

    Go there all the time better deals on lots of stuff and they pay their help union wages with benefits unlike the big W,at our local store we just hand off the cart and so far nobody has ever wanted my quarter and I never take theirs :lol:I guess at the end of the day somebody makes a quarter :D
