Good morning, Dale and HoneyBear....:)

@SilverBear , they couldn't find your AORTA? The biggest artery in the human body??? Fascinating. Can't wait to hear what they say today!!!

Hello, my Glittery Angel Katmar!

Yeah... this tech said a lung was in the way and echo "cannot see through air". She
had me turn this way and that way, and exhale until there was nothing left to exhale
a number of times. Maybe she was being kind and SHOULD have said that "echo
cannot see through tarred and scarred masses" (lung).

I am totally asymptomatic (ie: NOTHING consciously noticeable) for ANYTHING, heart
(or lungs), so not stressing this at all. MD always has me do a lung function test, always
pass it.

OK... NOW I am outta here.

Guess I'll be living a bit longer. Cardiologist said no need to do another
echo until about a year from now, but using "Definity" contrast to be sure
of a good picture. And it's only to monitor progression, if there IS any at
all. No immediate need for a stress test, either.

However, between him and my MD visit on the 17th and both harping on
the smoking, I'll be starting Wellbutrin soon. I plan to pair it up with a
renewed interest in vaping. PERSONALLY, if it helps me cut "analogs" in
half, I'll consider it a victory. THEY may not see it that way.

AND YES: I know successful cessation "could/may" only be achieved with a
sincere WANT of quitting. But I'm kind of hoping a combination of the med
and vaping will help things along. Remains to be seen.

Soooooo... I'll need to get my vape stuff out of storage and give it another
go. I am SURE I'll be asking questions and/or making comments and/or
soliciting suggestions. But until then... let me get reacquainted with what
I have, and what I like/dislike about the equipment I already own.

    Progression of what, Bear?
Wellbutrin really helped me to cut down on smokes, so hopefully, between the 2, you will do well!! :)

    Progression of what, Bear?

Progression of aorta distension. At high-midpoint of "normal" at this time. Have
quite a way to go before anything becomes "critical". And even before then, there
are plenty of non-surgical approaches. Apparently it's a way for them to pull in
patients and insurance $ and keep them in a job. That's how *I* view things.
