you're gonna stay away from those places now?
It happens at restaurants of all types. Three - maybe 4 - years ago, 10 of us went
out for a group birthday dinner. Five contracted noro. Not a 5-star place, but
decent enough. (Hus and I were not among the infected.) It was reported to
the local health bureau, who then sent the 5 people "test kits" and return envelopes.
That's how they found out it was noro. However, the health people would/could
not report back with any findings at the restaurant. And the 10 of us could not
figure out what it was that caused the illness... no pattern of foods, drinks or
servers (we had 3 that night).
