My truck passed yesterday but had to put on a new muffler first,that wasn't fun had soot all over me when I was done

Must be some nasty flu going around. Prince, and now I hear that a father and son both died from flu.
I know it kills people (particularly elderly/babies and immunodeficient) but wow. Bad strain?
Had a flu shot this year, may help.

The flu shot primes the immune system and, chances are, you will have much reduced symptoms if you get the flu...or fight it off entirely. Now, that's all subject to how "accurate" the flu-shot is any given year.
But it's your body's reaction to the flu that kills. The flu itself doesn't kill ya. So anything that can reduce your reaction and help you fight it off, is a good thing in my book. Basically, the flu-shot makes your immune system stronger. Think like eating your Wheaties/spinach...but for flu.
They should "sell" it that way in the media. Maybe Popeye....gets a flu shot
