Well, I was looking for a stop-gap measure, since, IDK, could be 5 or 10 years before you replace the deck...you didn't specify.
But OK, so you're basically saying "Replace the deck soon (or at least the Gazebo)".
I am siccing the bank on New York State Department of Taxation.
They double-ACH'd the $ owed on 11apr16. I sent documentation on 18ap16.
I called them 02may16 to ask "what's up w/ my money". I was told it would
take anywhere from 60 to 120 days to refund the amount. My "statute of
limitations" for any recourse involving the bank is 10jun16.
So... I let the hounds loose.
The bank will give me the money back... tomorrow. Then THEY will go after
the state. My hands are clean unless the refund check crosses paths and arrives
in the next couple of days.
"60 to 120 days". Right. Be late by ONE day with the state and get ready for
a fine. But THEY can take their good old time poking and dawdling in rectifying
THEIR mistake. Not with me! I'm not your ordinary housewife.
I will send them a "Solar Orbit Necklace".
