OK... early "Dad Wednesday" ... get him to echocardiogram appointment...
His cardiologist wants him to go in for an angiogram (or whatever it is called
when they go into the HEART [not just arteries/veins]) to determine next
steps re: congestive heart failure.
He told the doc he'll think about it.
Then he asked what *I* think. I said, first and foremost, I would support HIS
final decision, but also hoped he'd think a little more positively about this.
Then I got the "well, I'm 86 and blah blah and no guarantee of anything
blah blah how much longer do I have even if they can do anything yackity
yack".
So, I printed some info from the web how any procedure
could help with
his leg edema and balance/dizziness and overall weakness.
I'd say it's worth a shot.
But it *is* his decision.
