I would say "apparently so" as well, but they ARE illegal in NY. Therefore,
I have no compunction about calling the Sheriff.

Additionally, we here in Monroe County are >this< close to being in an official
drought. Those "local" fireworks will present a very real fire hazard. Everything
is as dry as a popcorn fart out there.

Far as I know we're not under a burn ban yet but we usually are fairly early in the year.
Not that it seems to make much difference
