I just purchased a new 18650 battery for my mod. The old one was worn out and didn't last long at all.
So the more you use and charge a particular battery, the "older" get gets and the less it stores. So to compare apples-to-apples you'd have to know that the usage patterns for both devices are the same and they are the same "age".
Then there's device differences, topper differences, etc.
If the iStick is new then you should email the vendor. It should last way more than 4 hours.I just got the iStick, Atty. The Aspires are older. Well, I just got 2 new ones for my birthday, but have 3 I've been using for well over a year and they last longer than the new iStick. And the GS air tank sucks a lot more juice than my plain tank.

Yes,Please do and good luckJust emailed them. Will let you know what they say. It's Mt Baker Vapor and they've always been good.
Friend of ours just got one of those.
Kat, glad you got in touch with MBV, cause my I-Sticks are way older than a year, and still perform well. These are the ones I have been using. Don't have to sub ohm, they adjust to the coil you are using. I use a 1.5, same as the GS air tank.
